Rejoin
If you start work again with an employer who is part of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) you can join the Scheme again.
You can link your new membership to this one to provide a single combined pension at retirement at any time after you rejoin.But if you rejoin after 1 April 2009 any new membership will be under the new regulations and your previous membership remains under the old regulations.
