Investment Performance

Short Term (1 year)
The Fund delivered a return of +7.9% over the year, marginally outperforming its benchmark.  The outperformance was mainly due to good asset allocation.

Medium Term (3 years)
Over the three years to 31 March 2011, the Fund posted a return of +6.2% per year which was equal to its benchmark return.  It failed to meet its target of out performing the benchmark by 0.5% per year, this was mainly due to poor returns in 2007/08.

Long Term (Since Inception - July 2005)
The Fund has delivered a positive return since inception, but just equals its benchmark.  The Fund's return is well in excess of the retail price index and national average earnings.
