How can I notify you of a change in my circumstances?

If you change your address, please notify us in writing so that we can send your annual benefit statement to the correct address. You can email pensions@lpf.org.uk or write to the Lothian Pension Fund, City of Edinburgh Council, High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1YP.

Your employer should tell us if you change your:

Name
Payroll reference
Marital status
Contribution rate due to a change in status
National Insurance contribution liability
Hours - whether permanently or temporarily

They should also tell us if you:

Receive or stop receiving sick pay
Take a paid or unpaid leave of absence
Take maternity, paternity or adoption leave - whether or not contributions have been paid to avoid break in membership

If you change your name or marital status, your employer will need to see the relevant certificates. Alternatively, you can tell us directly in writing. If you notify us directly, we will need to see the relevant certificates, which will be returned to you by recorded delivery. Or you can send photocopies which a responsible person has signed to say that they are true copies.
