If
you are currently receiving a pension from the Lothian Pension Fund, you may
find the frequently asked questions section helpful. The Guide to the Local
Government Pensions Scheme for Pensioners provides more detailed information.
You can find out more about how your pension increases and how it is affected if you start working again on the Local Government Pension Scheme website.
HMRC Email scam
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) have informed us of scam emails concerning tax rebates.
HMRC would not inform customers of a tax rebate via email, or ask them to complete an online form to receive a rebate of tax.
These emails are not from HMRC and you should not click on the links or disclose personal information. You can find out more on the
HMRC website.
We produce a newsletter for retired members twice a year in Spring and Autumn. You will find the latest issue here.
Every year we ask members what they think of our communications and service. We will be acting on the results of the 2008 survey over the coming months.
