If
you are currently receiving a pension from the Lothian Pension Fund, you may
find the frequently asked questions section helpful. The Guide to the Local
Government Pensions Scheme for Pensioners provides more detailed information.
You can find out more about how your pension increases and how it is affected if you start working again on the Local Government Pension Scheme website.
In June 2007, we sent a survey to a random sample of our pensioners. We asked what they thought about our communication with pensioners and our overall levels of service. We're pleased to report that more pensioners now know who to contact at the Fund, more of you are happy with communication levels and there has been a 19% increase in awareness of the website.
We still have work to do and we'll be addressing the issues that came up in the survey. We will report on progress in the next edition of 'Penfriend'. You can download the full survey results as a PDF or as a Word document.
You can also see the 2006 survey results as a PDF or as a Word document.
